Belva King, a Frederick County resident and local historian, began to compile newsletters about Afrian American history in Frederick County over 13 years ago. These newsletters include reprinted articles from the Frederick News Post and information sent from community members.
The newsletters have been compiled into seven volumes, containing over 2,000 pages of information. These newsletters have been shared with permission from Belva King.
