Coming soon! The Furnace Fellowship will be a one-year residential research and professional development program at historic Catoctin Furnace. Each year two new Fellows will be invited to join the site and participate in the research and interpretation of the industry and workers of this important site. Additionally, Fellows will participate in our “Heritage at Work” hands-on historic building trades program, learning valuable building and historic preservation skills. Through a combination of research, seminars, and hands-on projects, Furnace Fellows will conduct significant primary research and gain professional museum experience.
