Catoctin Furnace Honey

Italian honey bees produce this flowery toffee tasting honey from black locust blossom nectar which also gives it a distinctive dark hue. The hives are located on land known as the Auburn tract and utilized by the Catoctin Furnace iron operation beginning at the time of the American Revolution.
